How to help employees create a career development plan that works​​​​​​

Creating a career development plan doesn’t require forms, assessments or software — just collaborative conversations to map the quickest path between where an employee is, and where they need to go. We found a way to do just that with nothing more than three people, three Sharpies and a whole lot of stickies.

In our half-day Career Development Workshop, you’ll learn how to facilitate The Sticky Note Game, a scalable exercise we use to help everyone on our team create an effective career development plan. The game works by bringing both company needs and personal needs into career development planning, so the whole employee is accounted for. You'll walk away with a framework you and your team can use to quickly brainstorm, map and prioritize career development goals, so you can create an actionable career advancement plan that moves everyone forward.

This workshop will give you the tools you need to extract, discuss and prioritize company goals and individual growth opportunities, then use both to create a career development plan for each of your employees.  You'll also learn a system of followups to keep employees working toward their career developmental goals.
