Table XI Takes Its Expertise to the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce

The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce logo. It's true. We can't get enough of our fair city or the people who work here. So we were thrilled when the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce asked us to present at their monthly Tech Wednesday Seminar and contribute an article for their Business@Work newsletter.

On August 4, Greg Baugues presented "How to Not Get Screwed," a seminar aimed at teaching small business owners how to choose the right web vendor, successfully build a website, and use social media to gain an audience. Greg spoke about basic concepts and introduced a vocabulary that would help CCC members navigate the sometimes daunting process of creating effective web projects.

The following week, Greg and Kat wrote an article entitled "Two Strategies for Social Media Success" for the CCC's newsletter. The piece focused on companies Old Spice and web analytics firm KISSmetrics, whose groundbreaking Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook strategies are driving sales and expanding brand awareness.

Table XI replaces the award-winning Chicago Dryer web site with a new…. web site

On the eve of the launch of the new Chicago Dryer web site, Chicago Dryer’s OLD site won an “industry’s best web site” award at the 2007 Clean Show in Las Vegas.

Marketing Director Carol Tyler was able to get up on stage, accept the award and tell the assembled audience “oh, by the way, we’re launching a new site as we speak.” Money cannot buy moments like these.

Congratulations to all involved especially Rich, Jordan, Carol, Anthony and the two Steves.

NU Department of Medicine’s instantiation of System X released to production

After much anticipation, we recently launched System X for Northwestern University Department of Medicine (DOM) into production. The Department of Medicine Professional Activities Database (DOMPAD) allows DOM to maintain all of their data in a secure and easily accessible web based application. System X provides the framework for this important application and as it improves, so will DOMPAD.

Big Kudos to Matt and the Development team for a timely launch. Also, a big cheer for Eric, Jeff, Rebecca, Roger, and Josh is in order.

Fairbanks MAC Automation System Launched

After lots of planning, coding, UI tweaking, and yoga, the Medicaid Automated Claim System for Fairbanks has been released to production. This project involved everyone at Table XI, so it’s always satisfying to see everything come together and run smoothly. Most importantly, Greg and Isamu have now reached spiritual nirvana and will soon become one with the system.
