Online Program Registration
The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago has twenty-one centers in the Chicago area that offer a variety of classes. However, information and nomenclature for these programs lacked consistency across the Y’s website and its network of centers, making it difficult for people to find and sign up for the classes that interested them. We built a streamlined system for the Y that keeps track of the programs each center offers, while allowing tens of thousands of users to find and register for these programs online.

The Result:
Our simplified program catalog and registration system have increased enrollment at the YMCA while relieving clerical strain at centers during registration periods. It has improved the Y experience for current members and widened its visibility to potential customers.

Surveying, Analyzing, and Reporting on Behavior
Management consultancy Fairbanks provides services to governments and school districts, specializing in helping schools process reimbursement claims for Medicaid-eligible services. We worked with Fairbanks to build a system that automates data collection and reporting procedures in this bureaucratically thick arena.

The Result:
This application assisted in reducing Fairbanks’ personnel needs, so that now a small team can manage a business that was once run by dozens of people.
