XI Projects :: System XI

System XI is our as-yet unbranded software application that aggregates data from systems throughout an institution into a central repository. The system helps staff to automate business tasks, reduce paper, coordinate distributed people and power web sites. The system provides management with a reporting platform to make better-informed decisions about a broad range of topics.

For example, our first customer will use the system to aggregate information about publications, appointments, residency evaluations and clinical productivity to make more objective incentives-based compensation decisions. The staff will use it to track faculty appointments; manage 360-degree residency, fellowship, and faculty evaluations; electronically communicate with their constituencies; and serve as the master repository for creating reports, mailings and other generic office tasks.

The system is currently live but still lacks a name.
