Kathryn puts pen to paper and fingers to keyboard writing and editing for Table XI and its clients’ websites, social media outlets, newsletters, and any other projects that require wordsmithing.

In addition to her position at Table XI, Kathryn is a contributing writer and fashion editor for Make It Better Magazine on Chicago’s North Shore. She has also plotted and ghostwritten more than ten published books for kids, including the YA horror trilogy The Devouring and the novels and specialty books in the mid-grade Edgar & Ellen series. She graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in English and art history.

Kathryn lives in a converted loft that was once, most appropriately, a pencil factory, though sadly she has yet to find any wayward pencils lurking in corners or closets. Shoot her a line if you ever need recommendations for good kids’ chapter books—for better or worse, she reads a lot of them.
