Kate Garmey
Director of Marketing

As Table XI’s first Director of Marketing, Kate helps both our internal team and our clients develop and execute marketing strategies.

Kate relocated to Chicago after working for a social media startup in the Bay Area and previously served as the Associate Director of Social Media Critical Mass, a digital marketing agency, where she worked on enterprise accounts. Before joining Table XI, Kate spent two months exploring Mexico and Argentina, where she learned important things like where unheroic surfers can find a surf spot in Oaxaca (San Augustinillo), how to tango (it’s true, it takes two), and how to survive a 24-hour bus ride through Patagonia (write lots of postcards). When she’s not busy marketing, Kate spends her time writing comedy. You can often find her wandering the halls of The Second City.

Kate is a graduate of Brown University and earned a Masters degree from Northwestern, Medill (IMC) where she focused on digital media strategy. She serves on the board of Chicago-based nonprofit Twist Out Cancer.
