John Gore
Software Developer / Systems Administrator

Our first true southerner, John relocated from Auburn, Alabama to join us here in Chicago in 2008. He serves double duty as a software developer and the primary systems administrator for the Table XI hosting environment.

Previously, John worked at Auburn Engineers as a software architect and systems administrator, designing web applications for Fortune 50 companies. In 2001 he started his own computer consulting business, “Geek for Hire.” He received both his B.S. and M.S. in software engineering from Auburn University.

John would like to thank World of Warcraft not only for getting him an interview at Table XI—he met a TXI associate while leading raids into molten core—but also for introducing him to his wife, Katie. Further bolstering his nerd cred, John frequently sports t-shirts emblazoned with code-related jokes.
