Chris Stump
Software Developer

Specializing in Ruby/Ruby on Rails, Chris joins Table XI as a software developer on the NU Core project.

Though he studied liberal arts in college, after graduating in 1999 Chris discovered the open source community of Linux and never looked back. Starting out as a software engineer in Evanston, IL, and then making the move to Silicon Valley, Chris returned to Chicago in 2009 to start Mightyvites, an online invitations service.  He holds a B.S. in anthropology and psychology and an M.S. in computer science from Loyola University in Chicago.

Chris runs at least fifteen miles a week and has visited more than twenty different countries, but when he feels like a rest he fishes, camps, and tries out different restaurants in the city with his wife. He’s particularly fond of the pad kee mao at Siam Noodle & Rice in Uptown.
